Accessed via a private gated road and tunnel carved beneath the piste, Chalet Il Gufo provides both privacy and direct ski-in/ski-out access via an adjacent red run, which leads to the gondola. The snow-sure resort also offers easy connectivity to Zermatt, making it ideal for exploring the wider region.

Designed to frame the iconic Matterhorn, the chalet’s open-plan living area features double-height ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, immersing guests in panoramic mountain vistas. Relax by the fireplace on plush sofas, dine at the artisan wooden table for 14, or step onto the balcony to savor crisp alpine air. A state-of-the-art kitchen and dedicated chef (available on request) cater to gourmet meals, while ambient lighting enhances evenings spent in this sleek, airy space.

The upper floors feature six meticulously designed en-suite bedrooms, each blending luxury, functionality, and playful charm. Among these, three fixed double bedrooms cater to comfort and elegance: the first is a super king bedroom enhanced with a walk-in wardrobe, a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the Matterhorn, and refined interiors; the second boasts an equally spacious super king bed, while the third provides a luxurious king-sized double. For added flexibility, two twin/double bedrooms are equipped to convert seamlessly into double configurations, adapting to guests’ needs. The sixth bedroom is a playful haven with two sets of queen-size bunk beds (sleeping four), a climbing wall, and a ladder leading to a secret den in the eaves, lockable on request. Every bedroom is outfitted with modern amenities, including Apple Home Pod minis and individual thermostats, ensuring personalized comfort. The bespoke bathrooms further elevate the experience, crafted with premium Italian materials to embody sophistication and timeless style.
